Donuts!!!!

I ventured out and made donuts!  However since I cannot follow every recipe the exact way…I will post the “real” recipe and then the “Cathy Version”!   Cathy Version!!! Faux Krispy Kreme Donuts!!!! Donut Batter 2 pkgs. regular or rapid rise yeast 1/4 cup warm water 1 1/2 cups lukewarm milk (microwaved for a minute) 1/2 cup sugar 1 tsp. salt 2 eggs 1/3 cup shortening 5 cups all−purpose flour Creamy Glaze 1/3 cup butter (Melted) 2 cups powdered sugar 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 2-4 tbsp. milk   I cheated and used a bread maker!!!!  I put the dry ingredients in the bread maker, started the bread maker so it would mix the dry ingredients.  Then added the rest of… View Post
