We are the Super Six! My circus, my monkeys!
We live in a SUPER small town, the jury is still out if it actually a town, in Colorado. I grew up in Northern Colorado and met John in college. We moved all over….all over! We grew our family over the years. 4 amazing children! My loves…my world. The mess makers and cleaners in my house. The reason for my endless mountain of laundry. The ones who make me smile when I can’t adult. But in the spirit of keeping it real….my reason I want to pull my hair out!
Madison is 17, and is one of the coolest teenagers I know! She has her head on her shoulders and is going to save our world. She loves swimming competitively. She graduated at 16…from public school! She wanted to experience her senior year and all of its glory! Her graduating class was a whopping 12 students and she was 3rd in her class. While she had fun, it was still loved the freedom of homeschooling and the lack of girl drama. She has always wanted to help people and is currently going to college for her EMT and Fire Science degrees!
Joshua is 14, and works hard with his father on our farm. He can drive bigger things than I can and he can back up almost anything. He is very logical when it comes to fixing things….or rigging them to work until we can fix them. He loves music…. All music. His current love is the drums…..Pray for my hearing! He has an amazing heart for God and is going to make an amazing husband and father one day. He also has a great example! This child tried to kill me several times during pregnancy….it is a wonder the next two children exist.
Gianna……Gianna! She is my 11 year old spirit child! She has attitude and isn’t afraid to use it. She is my one I go to for honesty! If you really need to know truth….Gianna is your person! While she is loving, she isn’t going to coddle you! She will give you the best hug ever and then tell you to stand up and move on! She is also my athlete! She loves swimming and softball….and she is good at it too! Bug and crawly things are her jam. She will save any animal…. And bring it home too! She is going to be my veterinarian. She is madly in love with God and has a relationship with him that I strive for! Gianna……my spirit child.
Jeremiah is my 7 year old red headed jalapeno. He is a spicy one. He is also the greatest snuggler in our house. He wakes up and wants to be with me and goes to bed snuggling! He loves me….all of me…he loves my faults and forgives me daily! He is also my spiciest kid! He wears his emotions on his sleeve. You never have to wonder what he is thinking. I think this is a blessing and a curse. He is always the first to greet our UPS man…..which has never questioned why he isn’t in school! (He did tell our nurse at the doctor’s office that we forgot to send him to school!) He loves everything tractor and is freakishly good at any instrument he picks up. He likes sports but doesn’t love them. I think he got overwhelmed with drama in T-ball. Jeremiah is a great kid to wrap up the team!
How do we do this? It is 100% because of my night in shining armor! He is my everything! He steals my breath daily! We are getting ready to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. He is the hardest worker ever. We own a farm and he travels to Wyoming….over 7 hours away, once a month to take care of his IT clients he started while we lived in northern Colorado! He makes….us! He just is the best ever! He is a fantastic father and husband! We just do this whole thing together and I get the honor of walking this journey with him! God knew what he was doing….I am the luckiest!
